MEET SIMONA MARIOTTO
When Maria first considered creating an ADR firm to advocate for injured workers and, through active participation by all parties, help in uniting labor and management with a common cause, Simona was pivotal in bringing her vision to life.
From setting up the systems to building out the now fifteen person team, Simona brings an immense amount of skill, dedication, and passion to Mariotto Resolutions. Speaking four languages, Simona offers injured workers a superb experience and true devotion to assisting in their claims. Her background in Psychology, with an emphasis in trauma, lends itself to providing genuine support and compassion while working with injured workers. So passionate is she about helping people through difficult situations, Simona volunteered her expertise working as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line while continuing her duties at Mariotto Resolutions, Inc.
She has worked and manages Mariotto Resolutions, Inc since its inception in 2013, first as an assistant and over the last year as an Ombudsperson and Member Advocate, speaking with injured workers, managing expectations, and using her well-learned dispute resolution process to facilitate agreements.
In addition, she has pursued Worker’s Compensation with vigor - attending various trainings, including Workers’ Compensation Law and Tim Null’s, Permanent Disability Rating Class with Legal Specialization. You’ll regularly find Simona at California Applicants Attorney Associations conferences and seminars, making sure she stays up to date on trends, changes, and best practices in the industry to ensure every person’s needs are met and exceeded. She continues to use her education, daily hands on experience, and love for client advocacy to lead the Mariotto Resolutions team in success and knowledgeable compassion.
